President's Editorial
Walid B.
President of the GIP associationDear friends, dear colleagues,
It is with great joy that I address you as president of the GIP association.
A police officer for over 24 years, I was lucky enough to discover this exciting profession at a young age, inspired by my uncle, himself a police officer. Throughout my career, I have met wonderful people who passed on the values that unite us: courage, dedication, respect and above all, fraternity.
Our association was born from the desire to keep these values alive beyond borders, by creating bonds of friendship and cooperation between police officers worldwide, regardless of rank, function or nationality.
Open to all members of law enforcement — active, retired or reservists — it also warmly welcomes civilians who share our values as supporters. Today, we are proud to have more than 500 members in our region, all committed and enthusiastic.
Our activities
Our activities are varied and always meaningful:
Operational training with our foreign colleagues, to exchange know-how and strengthen our skills.
Community events to meet citizens, raise awareness about our profession and create sincere and respectful dialogue.
Solidarity actions, to support our colleagues in difficulty and contribute to humanitarian or social causes.
All of this is made possible thanks to a dynamic, passionate and attentive team. Your ideas, desires and proposals are always welcome!
I invite you to follow us on our website, Facebook page, Instagram, to discover our news, photos, videos and much more. You will also find all the information to join or support us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your trust, loyalty and commitment.
See you very soon for new human and professional adventures!
With all my friendship,
The president of the GIP association
Sadia T.
Vice-President of the GIP associationDear friends,
I have been a police officer for 25 years. I started my early years as a Security Assistant in St Herblain (44), then as a trainee Peace Officer in 2004 in Vannes (56).
I joined the Railway Network Brigade in Paris in 2005, in the suburban train security company, then quickly moved to the BAC METRO.
In 2019, I left the Paris region to join the Dieppe police station as a judicial investigator.
I met Walid, our President, in 2007 who introduced me to the GIP association. A solid and sincere friendship developed over the years.
I joined this association representing all the values of our profession: SOLIDARITY, MUTUAL AID, RESPECT, COHESION and FRATERNITY.
Passionate about photography, I joined the GIP office. Having become communications manager over the years, I have also been Vice-President for 4 years.
Thanks to the GIP association, I have been able to meet and exchange with many people from all law enforcement branches. These exchanges are always very enriching professionally and personally.
Our support also extends to associations for sick children and as a mother, I am always touched to participate in these actions.
I am committed to supporting our association which works BY and FOR Law Enforcement!
Looking forward to meeting you!
Sadia, Vice-President
